The earth floats on nothing at the right distance from the sun to support life as it flies through space at about 65,000 mph. Do you think that happened by chance?

Indeed I do! (I hate to point out what should be the obvious, but the earth does not "float" This action can be explained by basic newtonian physics or, if you prefer, more accurately by relativity.) The reason it is perfect for us is because we are "adapted" to this environment. If the earth had been further from the sun and the same circumstances that brought life now had happened then as well, life would be different, adapted to that environment. You see? Evolution explains why the earth is "mysteriously" perfect for the life that exists on it.

Hi just a quick question, considering how many miracles G-D/Jesus performed back in the day to prove their existance, in this topsy turby day in age where faith in G-D is being battered from all sides and loosing numbers rapidly, you'd think it was time to pull another trick out of the bag? Whats the delay?

Miracles happen all the time.

Kind of boils down to what your definition of "miracle" is, though.

And if one doesn't believe in miracles...I doubt they'd take notice.

Merriam Webster Dictionary defines "miracle" as: "an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs: an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment".

Individual interpretation of the meaning of "miracle" seems to vary widely, with some inclined to accept grass growing as a miracle. Many seem to regard sunrise as a miracle, even though both grass growth and rotation of the Earth should be regarded as expected features by informed people.

Of course, most religions rely upon reports of "miracles" to demonstrate the power of their chosen gods and to induce fear in believers. The same "miracles" are claimed by many religions -- walking on water, virgin birth, resurrection, transmutation, wise men following a star, birth on or around the Winter Solstice, etc. None of these beliefs are unique to any one religion and many long predate Christianity and Islam.

Jesus performed miracles yet his enemies accused him of deception and trickery. Our faith should not be determined by whether or not we see miracles. Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld. (Heb 11:1). You speak of a "delay". God has permitted adequate time for man to see that man does not have the ability to rule himself. "...Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late." Habakkuk 2:3
