Did you ever have a teddy bear growing up?

Did you ever have a teddy bear growing up?:)I did.:)
Yeah, I had a few stuffed animals. Somehow, I still have a stuffed Macy's Christmas panda bear (he even has a little Tommy Hilfiger sweater on) that I named Radar. I've had him for over 25 years and I'm amazed he's still with me through several big moves where I've lost much of my belongings (including to Ohio, where the airline lost some of the luggage).

I think he was texting Cupid.

Something about world domination and hacking into my admin CP or something like that.
Oh no. Cupid's always plotting world domination. It'd be a disaster if he partnered with your monkey and your monkey recruited folk from RF using your phone to help Cupid take over the world.

Hey, they'd probably do a better job of running the world than we have. :p

My first memory of my teddy bear was in the outside stairwell to the basement and it was covered in ants for some reason. I recall being distressed. My mother pitched it. I never had one after.

Stanley. A victirian teddy, been in the family since it was given to great grandmother. Hes going bald and had to have an arm and ear sewn back on.

He now sits on my eldest daughters dressing table

I had something that is now considered very politically incorrect and I'm not sure if I can even mention the word.

Is this the offending item, my good sir? :D

Very similar but it was about 55 years ago so the memory isn't the best. In my defence I didn't even know what racism was back then.

no worries mate. ;) my mum had one when she was a kid. I worked in a charity shop for a bit and we had two donated on separate occasions. I sold them both whilst working on the till a few years ago. It’s weird how these things become so elusive and taboo when the mood changes.

I’m told that I had a stuffed rabbit till I was about 4 years old. But my 3 older brothers managed to ……. Dispose of him…..via a number of creative techniques that I’m also told I did Not like.
It’s fifty years later now, and I don’t <twitch> remember a thing <twitch> <twitch> o_O:confused::eek:
