Don't Bug Me! I'm busy watching a useless election...

Yeah, Canada's doing it again. A 36 day campaign (wake up Americans -- you too could save billions of dollars!) in the midst of a pandemic, called by an entitled rich boy hoping to win a majority government. Which he won't. Nothing will change.

But I'm still such an election junkie I can't help myself.

So leave me alone. I won't be providing any of my usual wisdom for some hours. Suffer -- I don't care!

That's ever so much better than the US. We have one finish and immediately speculation starts for the next one; fundraising starts for the next one and potential candidates start testing the waters for the next one.

Feh.

Looks like you'll be able to keep masturbating.
No, we don't want that weirdo here. He'd fit in but we're way over the nut quota as it is.

It's great, actually. By law, elections in Canada can last a minimum of 36 and a maximum of 51 days. Done and over.

I did not stay up long.
I'm happy with the result as minorities have to discuss things more, allowing for some give and take. The proof is right here in this province where a majority government is allowed to sit back and watch people die, while pretty much everyone is begging to call in the army and the Red Cross, and we're headed for triage situations where docs are forced to decide who gets to live.
