I agree the problem is not religion.
However, religion is where I see it most often.
I blame RF for that... LOL
People are afraid to be honest, maybe with good reason. Its that same old question of whether society ought to be divided into classes or not.

God works on multiple levels with multiple views. In a true conversation with God, one struggles to keep up. A small conversation with God might take one a week to understand all that was said and who even knows how much one missed. One probably missed more than one understood.

Everything about God and this physical universe will add up completely. All the secrets of the universe stare us all in the face. It waits to be Discovered by those who are ready.

Yes, Intelligence exists far beyond that of mankind. Does that mean God is all intellect? At one point, I discovered God does have a sense of humor though God isn't going to play tricks or jokes on anyone. God's sense of humor comes along a lesson for one's good.

Let me tell you a story. When I was a young man I went to the park on a nice spring day. While in the park I saw this really fat girl sitting on a park bench. She was so ugly to me I reacted and asked the question. God, who in the world would ever go out with that girl??? I walked on. I forgot about it all and went home.

A few days later, I started getting strange calls in the middle of the night. After a few calls, a young lady with a soft sexy voice started talking. We seemed to hit it off pretty quickly so I asked her out on a blind date. When I arrived at her house to pick her up, I discovered it was the fat girl from the park.

I learned a lot about making judgment calls without getting to know someone. Though it didn't work out for us, she did find someone and married them.

So let's get back to God's sense of humor. I said: God, who in the world would ever go out with that girl.
God's subtle answer through God's action was: You, my son, YOU!!

I had a good laugh. God does hear it all. Be careful what one asks because one just might get an answer. I learned a lot. It was a good experience. It was good for everyone.

That is what God is really about. God is Unconditional Love. Unconditional Love always does what is best for the other.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

One of the logics of God is that He offers us solutions to problems in order to help us in each age. He does this because He cares for us like a parent. If we follow His advice, it goes without saying that we stand to gain.

2,000 years ago He sent His Son to tell us the best way was to love one another.

Imagine for a moment, that we followed this advice. What would have happened?.
No crusades, no inquisition, no civil wars, no world wars, no hatred s and prejudices that exist today. Monies would be spent on education, free Medicare, world employment and we would work together for things like the environment.

Human happiness and well-being would be assured.

However, we crucified and killed anyone who dared tell us how to live our lives so - welcome to hell on earth - made by man.

We did the most illogical thing in crucifying One Who gave us the only advice that can help us now - to love one another.

That's a first cause argument. I have no problem if there is a first cause, but its insufficient to prove God's existence. What causes the first cause? Then what causes that? Then what causes that? God->God->God-> etc. This where the phrase "Its turtles all the way down" comes from. If everything has to have a cause then its turtles all the way down.

But not everything has to have a cause.
An infinite number of causes to get to the next one is impossible.

Is your God the creator of all things or are all things your God?
If the former then surely God can think.
If the latter then we can think so your God is thinking through us.
Of have I got it wrong with those 2 possibilities I presented?

I don't have a God in the sense of a being with any sort of qualities or attributes. But we're not here to discuss my views on divinity.

Logic follows that if God is thinking through us, and we have brains, then God needs a brain to think.

If you assume that our spirit is not able to think then yes.

the manner that God.....thinks
The manner that God thinks you ask?

Well, God's manner function like how a puppet's manner function.
God thinks whatever some self-appointed true believers/messangers say they think/believe it's what God thinks.
God says whatever some self-appointed true believers/messangers say they think/believe it's what God says.

so....you would argue?.....He was empty-headed at that moment when He said.....

Let us make Man in our image

So clearly God speaks English.

Did you hear Him say this directly, or are you just going on hearsay?
