My God! Rwanda has been interfering in the UK elections! How is this possible?
This was literally my first thought. I had to think about it and only just got it. I think they mean Russia. I really wish all this Russia nonsense would go away. It's just a way for people to feel better about themselves and be like, wE wON ReALlY bUT rUssIA KiLlEd OuR vIbE!!

Anything Russia may or may not have done is opportunism. The anger was already their to exploit, so I really hope they drop this nonesense and start figuring out what the hell to do for our country and our people.

I don't see this ending well and can only hope to be proven wrong. I would genuinely be ecstatic if a few years down the line I can think, "Wow, I can't believe I was ever worried!"

The only favour I have to ask of both leave voters and conservative voters is that you hold Mr Johnson to account if he doesn't deliver on his promises or if Brexit doesn't achieve what you hoped.

Everyone should be congratulating Corbyn and his coterie for a BoJo landslide. From the very start when he was propelled into a leadership role, and where a split formed in the Labour ranks (everything blamed of course on that nasty Blair and his acolytes), many did see a catastrophe in the making (me, me - I did remember Michael Foot). Giving him the benefit of the doubt, as being quite decent but not exactly intellectually enhanced, on his own he might have been quite harmless - apart from his rather left-wing convictions and suspect connections - but he did surround himself with a bunch of incompetents (as much as he was/is). The delusional belief that the left-wing policies would of course appeal to a majority, since they made so much sense, added to the likelihood of the eventual fall. RIP Old Labour.

But of course, being so delusional, they will still try to get a replacement Corbyn - and drag this out into many more Tory victories.

Some are blaming what they call "ignorant" voters as well, seems like a pattern, we saw it here in the states as well and will probably see again in 2020 if the democrats can't get it together. Instead of seeing that through their own actions they turned voters away from them they blame Russia and ignorant voters because they didn't choose them, some can't grasp that they lost it all by themselves.

All this proves is that the Tories are better at lying to the voters than Labour is.

Boris Johnson and biggest Tory landslide since Margaret Thatcher tonight, CONGRATULATIONS. We do not know the exact number of seats, but it appears it will be 368 seats.

Conservatives on track for a huge majority of 386, with Labour trailing behind on 191. Soon the will of the voters will be realized and BREXIT will be a reality!

This victory opens the path for fantastic UK-US trade deals. In one way, it is also yet another victory for US President Donald Trump and foretells a Trump landslide in 2020.View attachment 35176

I have been reading the win was more about Breixt not challenging seats than merely the Tory platform itself. A challenge would have split Tory votes thus Labour could have had a better chance. With BP it's supporters went with Tories.

Indeed!

Congratulations to the last Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the first Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of England and Wales!

Except in the US where we have actual evidence of interference (from '16). Maybe they didn't have a hand in the UK political wheel, but I doubt that. Russia is gearing up for something. I smell war. This is just step one, destabilization.

Still not seen or heard any lefties blaming russia but see lots of right wingers gloating that lefties blame russia.
