All the stuff about immortality. How much did he bring to life?

As a three part being (1 Thessalonians 5:23) it all has the full life but at different times:

1) Your spirit - this He brought to total life. As a born-again believer, your spirit is created into the image of God and experiences His total life..
2) Your soul - this is our responsibility while on earth and it is in the process of being renewed (Rom 12:2) through the word of God. However, when our bodies die, it will experience God's total redemption through the life He purchased.
3) Your body - which is still created out of the ground and is cursed, will experience God's total redemption when it is put off and we have a new glorified body experiencing God's total life.

Hope I am expressing myself well.

The body was formed from from the ground and is called MAN. Man was formed in the image of God. God breathed into the MAN (the image) the breath of live (spirit) and the MAN became a living soul.

If you want to know what man is, that is, his nature, and what a living soul is, then go to Moses, because he taught it.
Moses says that God formed man, in the image of God, from the dirt of the earth. God then breathed into that image (man) the breath of life (spirit). The man then became a living soul just as all other creatures who have the breath of life (spirit) are called living souls.

Ok... no problem... it isn't contrary to what I wrote.

Your spirit is not created in the image of God. The physical man is.
Hmmmm.... nope. At least not according to Jesus.

5 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. 7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘Youmust be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”

It isn't the body that is "born of the Spirit" - it is your spirit

Certainly all. Is there a specific application you are trying to grasp?

I have for the longest time thought the story of lazarus and the rich man was a parable. But how is making a parable about the afterlife match 2 Timothy 1:10?:confused:And what about Ecclesiastes 9:5?.Doesn't it say the dead are gone and are out of existence?I am still trying to grasp this.:(

In context....V6-11
"For this reason I remind you to stir up like a fire the gift of God that is in you through the laying of my hands on you. 7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but one of power and of love and of soundness of mind. 8 So do not become ashamed either of the witness about our Lord or of me, a prisoner for his sake, but take your part in suffering adversity for the good news by relying on the power of God. 9 He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our works, but because of his own purpose and undeserved kindness. This was given to us in connection with Christ Jesus before times long ago, 10 but now it has been made clearly evident through the manifestation of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and has shed light on life and incorruption through the good news, 11 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher."

What are Paul's words conveying here?

As used in the Bible, "the gospel", (or good news), refers to the message about the Kingdom of God and of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. There are four accounts of the life and activities of Jesus as the Christ. Since the rest of the Christian scriptures support the good news and even enhance its teachings, we can take all of scripture as coming from God, not man. It is a product of holy spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
