There is not 1 rule for all how one should behave spiritually. Some follow strict 1 religion, that is their choice.
IF I find something that is good and useful, I use it. And there are quite a few verses in the Koran that I find useful.
If I find a verse that feels not good, I try to find another way to read it, because in the end I do believe God gave the Scripture
I don't judge the way you practice your spiritual life. Why should you judge my way?
Maybe you misinterpret what I wrote:
a) I was accused interpreting Koran verse wrong. I said I leave those things for Allah to judge, which I was mocked for. I disagree with that kind of judgment.
b) Translators make errors not God. If verses feel bad, it could be translation error. Hence I try other translations or check the original language (word by word)
@Unguru :
So, Your "Funny" is misplaced here. I was serious about what I said. I feel it would be better if you remove the "Funny", don't you feel the same now?

It isn't exactly funny that some people think themselves better at understanding the verses of the Qur'an than the prophet, the Sahaba or the learned scholars after that.

You twist my words. That is not funny. I trust my feelings and Muslims told me, that I was right. The Koran version I used was not a good translation.
So I agree to disagree with all you said

You trusting your feelings and random Muslims agreeing with you has nothing to do with Islam. Still I have already pointed out to you that the translation you say "was not good", doesn't exactly have any fault in it besides for possibly causing misunderstandings.
