If You Knew Someone Was Divine, Would You Be More Respectful?

I know exactly what I believe in ,

It seems you may not, since your arguing about Biblical things, and you don't even adhere to any of the Bible.

Guess what.

That means you cannot argue against anything unless you agree with it.

Looks like there is not point to having a debate forum if that is true.

Hmm threads I started on RF

/sabbath
/circumcision
/father /son Jesu meaning/s/ inference
/Jesus as Creator

various others.

you? haha

And there you go insulting the poster again.

Why don't you stop using logical fallacies and actually address my arguments?

Of course it doesn't, because you cannot answer it, or your too afraid to answer it.

Fiction. You don't have arguments that make sense. At first you imply that there couldn't be a ''real'' sabbath day, since there isn't a Deity, to do such; then, you claim to know the 'real'' sabbath day. Makes no sense. You necessarily can't even believe your own arguments to be true.

So are you lying on purpose or are you being ignorant?

You are against anything Roman,

Oooo! Did someone call?

even though it was great Romans who gave us some of the Biblical traditions and truths, we hold today.

...darnit, guess not.

Incidentally Saturday is so named because of an eponymous reason: it was Saturn's Day: the day where there was a major feast in celebration of one of the greatest of the deos. (Is that right for the plural of deus? I don't know Latin and I'm relying on Wiktionary.) Heck, it's the only one of the days that in English is named for a non-English God (though I did read somewhere that we may have appropriated the name Saturn for one of our own Gods with a similar function.)

How is everything holy but Satan is profane?

Satan is a name describing the present state of a son of God -an angel -who was responsible for administering the government of God to a third of the angels.

As that holy angel began to disrespect God, his government and the creation, God -whose authority it was -cast him out as profane and limits his activities, and the activities of the third of the angels he led to attempt to overthrow the throne of God.
They await the judgment later.

Satan himself -his form and intended function -is not profane -his present state is profane.

It seems unthinkable to many, but he is a son of God that God would want to repent and cease to be profane. God is able to destroy any who will not cease to be profane, but that is not his desire.

To this end, the being who eventually became Christ went and preached to those spirits in prison -the angels who kept not their former estate.........

1 Pet 3:18For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah"....................

Jude 1:5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day

Until that day, Satan (and the demons -sinning angels) has been restrained -but he is sometimes allowed to act on his own will as God gives him authority -such as when God allowed Satan to interact with Eve, to act against Job and to tempt Christ.
God allows that for our eventual perfection -and even to prove certain points to Satan. Notice it was God who brought up the subject of Job's righteousness to Satan in the first place. So -while Satan is presently cast out as profane, his authority is still directly from God.

We can not know if God can bring Satan to repentance -but even if not, it is not our place to show disrespect for him or his authority. We should certainly not respect the fact that he wills us harm or wills to do evil, but that does not give us the right to sin against even him. It is God's to judge him, and it is ours to resist him by remaining righteous even when tempted or acted against by him.
