The best advice I could give is to contact your local rabbi. Customs and traditions can vary by community, and it would probably be best to see what your community does.

Going by what you have listed for your location (Leeds), you could try contacting the rabbi at Sinai Synagogue. Their "Reform Judaism" page looks to have some of the information you're looking for.

How do the two differ?

The Reform movement in England tends to be more traditional than it's American counterpart, particularly when it comes to ritual and practice.

Confusing... :D

So what would be more like the English version of American Reform Judaism, if anything?

Actually its a difference between American Reform Judaism and European Reform Judaism.

Also Reform Judaism originated in Europe(to be more precise Germany) so it would make more sense to say "The American version of Reform Judaism".

To oversimplify the whole matter one could say that European Reform Judaism is closer to American Conservative Judaism than it is to American Reform Judaism.

I think Flankerl is right on both accounts: It would be more akin to the more liberal side of American Conservative Judaism, and that the comparison is greatly over-simplified.

Reform Judaism in both countries share similar stances when it comes to theology, doctrine, and view of Jewish law. The main difference, in my opinion, comes in when you look at application and practice.

I have found another faith to research,me and the abrahamic faith's probaly dont mix well!
Here is an interesting case. Someone came here to learn about reform and after receiving advice decided to leave. I think he could have been a fine reform Jew, had he learned about reform, with a small "r".
