I've always believe if there was intelligent life out there in the universe that God would have made a salvation plan for them too. But the real question is do we really want another intelligent life form with possible superior technology to know that our resource rich planet exist?

I don't think there's any debating, $21 million in one year is very rich. If his god is real, he's gonna have alot of 'splaining to do over why there are still so many people throughout the world going without basic health care, edible food, and clean water to drink.
Personally, I don't think we'll have enough of what they would want or any of it left to make their trip worth it if they come after resources. Things like oil we are rapidly depleting, water is abundant throughout the universe, plant life assumes a similar enough evolution on their planet that they would biologically similar enough for them to know how to use them and/or eat them, precious metals assume they would have significant value in their culture. I think should they ever come here, they will either bring great destruction or great knowledge. The journey is just too far for anything with less determination.
I think any civilization capable of interstellar travel will have advanced to a point where they could readily access any resources they need from any available planet or asteroid. I don't think Earth would look any more attractive in the resource department to such a species than other planets would. This is especially true given the immense amount of time and energy that would have to be expended just for them to get here. They'd be much better off mining their own planetary system.
