I used to keep these as pets.
I was living in Algeria at the time and we'd find them outside all the time. I'd play with them for awhile and then let them go. Watching them eat is amazing.

I used to see these more often around during my childhood. massive construction in my city has turned it from a town with open fields to one of the major cities in Israel.I used to keep these as pets.

when I was a kid I used to see owls, tons of these chameleons, hedgehogs, etc. my mother used to see jackals, snakes, etc. only God knows what my great great great grandparents saw when they dried swamps on this land.
