There are only two churches

I am talking in the realm of the spirit (different degrees of heaven and different degrees of hell) as well as on earth. I feel that heaven and earth are inseperably connected. What you create for yourself on earth will be the same when you pass over to the next.
Glad to see we're not on the same page, then.

I think what it comes down to is this:

CHURCH OF THE LAMB OF GOD : All those that love truth (and everything that goes with it) and preach truth to others.

CHURCH OF THE DEVIL: All those that love lies (and everything that goes with it) and preach lies to others.

Remember we don't need to have all the truth right now. This is part of our progression. To build on the truths that we accept so that we may progress.

Are you a part of the CHURCH OF THE DEVIL that builds upon lies of the devil?

And because he had fallen from heaven, and had become miserable forever, he sought also the misery of all mankind. Wherefore, he said unto Eve, yea, even that old serpent, who is the devil, who is the FATHER OF ALL LIES, wherefore he said: Partake of the forbidden fruit, and ye shall not die, but ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil.

2 Nephi 2:18 (Book of Mormon)

Yes, of course.

By the way, my name is Michael as well. I think we are very much alike, from the posts that i have read of yours in the last month, we think very similar thoughts.
Our michel is very openminded, Celebrates Christmas, embraces other ideas, Faith heals, studies auras, Loves Christians as well as Pagans. Don't take this wrong, but no, you are not like him, but in time, by listening and learning from others on this forum, you might get there.

What do you mean what we create for ourselves?
Are we not individuals?
You cannot generalise so many people into two catagories
/

Whatever we cling to in this life we will cling to in the next.

Yes we are indiviuals and we create our lives as we would have them. This is the "Plan of Happiness" God wants us to make a choice.

I believe that there are varying degrees of the CHURCH OF THE LAMB OF GOD as there are varying degrees of the CHURCH OF THE DEVIL.

Where do you fit in.

There are varying degrees of goodness as there are varying degrees of evil.

Which side of the fence are you on????

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

Mathew 6: 24
3 Nephi 13: 24 (Book of Mormon)

Faith, do you ever stop to consider the possibility that no one in his right mind thinks himself evil? No one ever commits an act without being able to justify or rationalize it to oneself. How do you define 'evil' in light of this?

Lies about what?
and if one has been converted by a "liar" does that make them a liar also?
In a nutshell: Lies about God or lies about anything that keeps us from knowing the truth.

Seek out the truth by prayer and fasting.

Don't take anyones word for it. Seek it out for yourself. Look for truth wherever it may be. This can only be done through the Spirit of God, through prayer and fasting.

No person can convert another. This is done through the Spirit of God. Not by man.

You hilariously contradict your own orders in the same paragraph.

i was just thinking that

i have had many experiences where a person i know has said something, and i have later found a great truth in it, yet they were not expressing it as such

I smell something....
My name is Tim and I don't believe in Satan or of the Christian concept of hell. I wonder if this falls under the truth side of the fence or the lies side of the fence or maybe this puts me as one of the fence sitters:confused:

Yes I remember you now.

I think you represent the culture of today. The blending of Christianity with Paganism. I posted a debate on this yesterday. The Blending of Christian traditions with Pagan traditions. I think this is widely accepted. I however find it quite confusing. Especially as a young child it was so confusing to me. No one seemed to know exactly what they were celebrating when it came down to American holidays like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc. I think there needs to be a clarification between the two traditions of Christianity and Paganism. I think that you may have a wealth of knowledge on this subject.

OK let me clarify. Weed out the truth and the lies, by praying and fasting about what you have learned, thus far in life, and the Spirit of God will confirm truths you have learned.

Seek out more truth by the Spirit of God who confirms truth and reveals truth as well. Prayer and fasting also help us to distinguish between truth and lies.

Picture yourself on the fence with varying degrees of evil on one side and varying degrees of good on the other.

Do you have a picture in your mind???

If so page down.

Are both feet on one side or the other? I think that you will find yourself facing one way or the other.
