First of all there are temples of Lord Brahma all over India (Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Orissa, goa etc)
One of the Shaiva Purana, talks about an incident where Lord Shiva curses Lord Brahma that He will never be worshiped on Earth by masses! There are varying versions for why the curse was given to him! Some of them depict false ego and some depict lust as the cause of the curse!
Lord Brahma is a non stop universal principle that creates and itself is a creation of GOD! Lord Brahma creates and has a life span of 100 years!!

There are many stories of the reason why Brahma is not worshipped, most of them are to do with Shankar Bhagwan cursing Brahma.
My personal opinion is because Brahma creates, after which His role is one in worship of the Himself as Vishnu (The sustainer) and Shiva (The dissolver). Really they are the same divinity and it is just a lila, for us to ponder and enjoy. There is probably little reason, except to accept it as divine will.

Glad you said dissolver. The other commonly used Christian term is such a poor translation. Yes indeed, Saivas believe Siva contains all 3, as do Vaisnavas. For those of us on these sectarian paths, there is little need for more than one god, as that God covers everything and is all we'll ever need and more.

There are indeed more than just three!! Here is the list:
1. Pushkar (Rajasthan) Brahma Temple
2. Kumbakonam (Tamil Nadu)
3.Thirunavaya in Kerala
Regular pujas are held for Lord Brahma at the temple in Thirunavaya and during Navrathris, this temple comes to life with colourful festivities.
4. Asotra village in Balotra Taluka of Barmer district in Rajasthan known as Kheteshwar Brahmadham Tirtha
5. Brahma-Karmali village in Sattari Taluka in Goa
6. Khedbrahma in Gujarat (In Khedbrahma, Gujarat, there is a statue of Brahma. A six feet tall statue was also discovered at Sopara near Mumbai.)
7. Khokhan village in the Kullu Valley, 4 km from Bhuntar, in the state of Himachal Pradesh
8. Sri Kalahasti near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh
9. There is also a shrine for Brahma within the Bramhapureeshwarar temple in Thirupattur, near Trichy
Sri Brahmapureeswarar Temple is located at Thirupattur, near Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, South India. The idol of Lord Brahma is fully covered with turmeric everyday morning.

10. a famous murti of Brahma at Mangalwedha, 52 km from Solapur district in Maharashtra,
11. Kodumudi, Erode district, Tamil Nadu;
12. two temples in Orissa namely Bindusagar and another in Niali Brahma Temple dating to medieval period;
13. The largest and most famous shrine to Lord Brahmā may be found in Cambodia's Angkor Wat.
14. In Java, Indonesia, the 9th century Prambanan Trimurti temple mainly is dedicated to Shiva, however Brahma and Vishnu also venerated in separate large shrines inside the temple compound, a single large shrine dedicated to Brahma on southern side of Shiva temple.
15. There is a statue of Brahma at the Erawan Shrine in Bangkok. The golden dome of the Government House of Thailand also contains a statue of Phra Phrom (Thai representation of Brahma).

I'm not denying the existence of Brahma temples or shrines. in fact, at the temple I go to most often there is a Brahma niche in the side of the moolasthanam, which is dedicated to another God. But in contrast to Krishna, Shiva, Shakti in various forms and other temples, there are far fewer Brahma temples. Of course I could be wrong. Maybe I just traveled the wrong roads in India.
I know how you feel. I was tempted to say "disolver of ego" but it didn't fit. I feel the mind can make a mess of the concept of the "trinity" - Brahma, Vishnu, Siva. One of the most clarifying texts, for me on this matter is SIVA MAHIMNAH STOTRAM, which I feel you are familiar with. I will try to keep from going off topic, but perhaps we should make a new thread to elaborate on Shiva too

To my knowledge I know only 3 temples exit for Lord Brahma, you have listed many thanks for sharing. Though he has many temples why is Brahma worship not popular as other gods like shakthi and shiva?

I haven't. I don't think they exist, or if they do, they are tiny.
Various Purāṇas have stories on why this is. Most of them are not flattering to Lord Brahmā.
