I have made one very special friend, and she knows who she is. So, in all respects I am cool.

And to my close friends Malus and Watcher, Kudos.

Also, everyone I've educated in debate and discussion, they know they have learnt something from the master whose never defeated, to them all my thanks.

Cheers

Has any forum member changed your life?
impacted, yes, and changed to a certain extent, but nothign drastic.... i came here with my faith, and i still have my faith, so no major changes :)

Have you met someone here that has become a part of your life (not just one way but any)?
i have not "met" anyone off the forum (knowingly) - and i doubt that i ever will, as most of you are over in the states - though if i had one wish, it would be to join feathers in her happy heathen dancing jig :D

Have you met your best friend here? Have you learnt anything from a member?
nope, my best friends are still the ones i have around me at home and at college........ but i value the oppinion of many members here, too many to list actually, and if i do list some, then i cant help but feel that if i miss someone they may be a tad upset

i value this forum a lot actually, its very friendly, very very friendly

i mean, on many other forums i have been blocked for my username, and my openness about sexuality, but this forum is different, this is the only forum i have found where moderators are friendly to new members

i value the usage of this forum in my life, and without the people who are on it, it would not hold such a value ........ i think that counts as having affected my life

RF has changed me majorly. Put me on my feet spiritually, I've learned so much from so many people.

Feathers, Druidus, Kowalski, Robtex, Netdoc, Master Vigil, michel, Scott, Jensa, Jewscout, Bastet, (don't feel bad if I left you out, having a majory brain lapse) and so so so many others. Can't even begin to list them all.
And of course, my best friends, Malus/Steve.:D

I have learned from Feathers that some people can be very kind. Or she is just pretending to be a very kind, gentle, loving person, and is in reality a serial killer planning on global domination.

As I popped in on her not too long ago I can vouch for the latter. Her evil lair is a sight to behold, and the remnants of her victims that she keeps in jars on her shelves as trophies are breath-taking.:biglaugh:

Not really. Some of them have enriched it, though.

Everyone, in a way. I spend far too much time on this forum. It's good, though, in the main and most of the people here are friendly welcoming and often incredibly knowledgeable.
Have you met your best friend here?
Nope. I married her four years ago.
Have you learnt anything from a member?
Lots, mostly that I was wrong about their beliefs! Like Feathers, and for the same reason, I'm not going to name names, but I've learnt a lot from some of the Muslims, Atheists and other assorted non-Christians here. I've also learnt an awful lot (and continue to do so) from the Roman Catholics. We don't always see eye to eye but at least the barrier between us now looks more like a picket fence than the Great Wall of China. Perhaps the most important thing I've learnt is that it is possible to accept and be accepted by people of all beliefs whilst still unfalteringly holding onto your own faith. I used to fear that such things would lead to compromising my faith or, conversely, fostering animosity by being unwilling to compromise. As just about the only regular Orthodox poster here in a sea of heathens ;) , I can confirm that my fears were misplaced.

Somehow, without me noticing, Jay changed me. He came in so silently, made some changes, and then left again, and I didn't notice til just recently... weird.
