What a tease... What was the feedback? Just that he loved it :D

So far. He wants me to re-submit chapter one so he can read everything, then he'll send me minor revisions. But he likes what he sees in 2,3,and 4.

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted here.

Turns out I was halfway done with four, and I've been stuck on it for months... because I have to bridge the first half of the diss with the last half. That's extremely difficult.

But I got an idea today that was so amazing that I wept! I finally figured it out. I should finish four tonight and five in about two weeks! (knock on wood).

More progress! I am so tempted to turn in chapter four this week - I just don't know if it's strong enough.

It's going to be quite a thick dissertation. I went into the library the other day to look at the past dissertations from my school - the longest one was 248 pages.... mine is at 282 with four more chapters to go. And its concise - there's nothing that can be cut out (that has been written, of course). I'm thinking about cutting out a chapter - or combining the material into one shorter chapter, which would instantly rocket me ahead from halfway to 4/7 of the way through.

Chapter four really kicked my tail, but the work that I did there should *hopefully* help the rest of it go rather quickly.

The really discouraging thing is that Spring graduation is out of the question. It will be August or December, which really sucks.

YAYYY!! Sorry about the delayed graduation, though.

I turned in chapter four a few years ago. I mean days.

Because I've been shut in because of the snow since Monday.... I've finished a draft of chapter five AND six. I can't believe it.

I want you all to know that almost all of my dissertation while drinking and watching Married with Children on netflix.
