Help me to find a verse!

Hi,

I'm looking for a verse in the OT where it says that God isn't like anything that swim in the sea, walk on earth or fly in the sky...

I just can't find it!

Thank you!

I'm not sure I can think of a verse offhand that literally and directly says that. Mostly, it's said by implication, such as in the first two of the Ten Commandments, or at the end of Ex. 34, when Moses asks to see God directly. Anyone else feel free to correct me, because I'm not swearing it's so. But I would've thought I'd remember seeing such a verse.

Is this of any help?

Try Deuteronomy 5 v8. There it mentions not to make a carved image. Heavens above, earth underneath, or in the waters under the earth, as to bow down in worship. So God would not be like any of those things.

Behemoth is mentioned at Job 40, and Leviathan at Job 41.

Side note: God is not like precious metals -Acts 17v29; Isaiah 46vs5,6,9

I vaguely remember reading such a verse. It sounds familiar somehow. Perhaps in the Psalms or Proverbs? It's a mystery alright.
