I do not know what the name of my belief is. I believe in a sexless-god/power/supreme being. I find it difficult to believe in any "faith" that is based primarily on words written by a human.
I was raised liberal Christian. I was shown the importance of knowledge, reading, education, and never taking anything at face value. The down side, I imagine, to my father, was that both of his daughters turned away, at different levels, from Christianity. He has never complained, though, and will discuss in depth anything about religion we so choose. What a wonderful father.
I try to be very open minded, and do believe that others have their right to their opinions, and beliefs. "whatever works for them" is okay by me. I am now in a profession and job where I can encounter various religions, and have the opportunity to share thoughts, when I, or they want. What a wonderful job.
I want to use this forum to improve my knowledge, acceptance, and interest in all religions. This is to improve my work, and my life.
I have many more questions than answers, and am excited to begin a journey here.
