This is tricky, but i think that apophatic approach is valid since we can show what God is not, and in some cases we do not have much things left. Like God is not a body, so he must be spirit etc.
I believe in a personal God which is one, omniscient, omnipresent, omnibenevolent, all powerful, is simple, his essence is his existence and is revealed throug judaism as "I am", later he become man so men can become gods.
Truth exist in a sense that something is either empirically right(sky is blue) or it is logicaly right(square has four sides). Ultimate truth in sense that we can comprehend total meaning of things is unattainable for man, for he is in universe whereas ultimate truth can only be know "outside"...
I am not claiming in my analogy that since some people are obese that all people are obese. It shows that since some people are obese than other people are can suffer from obesity too. They might have different issues. Like in morality not everybody is stealing, but that someone does infers that...
ad 1) I can it is called Argument based on Generalization.
ad 2) Does that mean I have the right as a self determined person to cut my wrist or otherwise self-harm myself ?
ad 3) On what basis you pressupose that no one is infallible ?
People dont know what is best for them, look at food and obesity, if people would know that it is bad for them they would not do it. I dont understand the second question.

1. In Catholicism you are not saved by faith alone, so you must do good deeds to get into heaven.
