I was born and raised as a Christian, and considered myself a Christian until middle age. Then one day it occurred to me that I had only seen verb phrases of causation and emotion (or the equivalent) placed after the rows of alphabet letters "G-o-d", "Yahweh", or "Allah". So I realized that I really knew of nothing "God", "Yahweh" or "Allah" could refer to. So I could no longer label myself "Christian" since I knew of nothing labeled "God" to believe in the existence of. But I also could not label myself "atheist", or "agnostic", since I knew of nothing labeled "God" to disbelieve in or to claim to withhold judgment on the existence or nonexistence of. Some people have coined "ignostic", "igtheist" and "theological noncognitivist" to describe my particular stand. But all I know to label myself with is "Someone who doesn't know of any concept of anything that "God" could refer to, or any reason to even suspect in the least that it refers to anything at all.
