Mat-Su bans transgender students from bathrooms that match their gender identity

"Real men" aren't allowed in my bathroom, according to you, remember? Now you want them saving me in there. LOL

Way to avoid the point. Again.
Why not? what bathroom do you go to?
I assume you are a male?

If you are female why are you worried about females beating you up in the bathroom?

I'm a female.
I have gone to the bathroom in both the women's room and the men's room during my life. I've mostly used the men's room out of necessity/emergency.

Last week I was at a bar where the bathroom was gender neutral and there were both men and women milling about. Nobody seemed to care. Nobody got raped. Nobody saw anybody else's genitals. In fact, I've never seen anyone's genitals in any public washroom anywhere, ever.

If you are female why are you worried about females beating you up in the bathroom?
I'm not worried about anyone beating me up in the bathroom. That was your scenario I was responding to.
I was responding to your hypothetical where you think men are sneaking into women's rooms to attack women, and how men are so much bigger and stronger than women so we should be scared of them being in our washrooms. Well, there are many women who are much bigger than I am, that could take me out. I'm not scared of them either, but according to you I probably should be.

No no, that was not he (@Wildswanderer) was insinuating. He is not talking about men sneaking into women's bathroom to attack women, he is suggesting that trans-women will go into woman's bathrooms and attack other women.

His position is full of transphobic bigotry, let's not sanitize it for him.

Let us be clear, where you are cis male, cis female, trans male or trans female, there are laws against attacking or otherwise harassing people in the bathroom, lockeroom, changeroom or anywhere else.

And a trans person is many times more likely to be attacked in the bathroom than they are to be the attacker.

Well, yeah. You're right.

A very important point that has been overlooked and ignored at every turn on this thread and others.

Well I've noticed how nervous women are here if there is even a man hanging around the door of the ladies room. I used to have to take two daughters to the restroom at times, and I was viewed with suspicion for being close to the ladies room.
And I have already posted numerous accounts of people using the transgender rules to fulfill there perverted desires, so it is certainly not imaginary.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, men using the transgender rules to gain access to the ladies room.
Sexual Assault Victims on Transgender Bathroom Policies

"I believe that when I drop my kids off at school, or when I take them to a private gym, I have a right to expect that the men will use the men’s locker room and the women will use the women’s locker room,” Ericksen told The Daily Signal. “I shouldn’t have to worry about my young daughters having to come face to face with things that they should not have to be exposed to at their age.”

"I am not saying that transgender people are predators. Not by a long shot. What I am saying is that there are countless deviant men in this world who will pretend to be transgender as a means of gaining access to the people they want to exploit, namely women and children. It already happens."

"Since deciding to speak out, Triller Haver, Simon, and Flores say they’ve been attacked and labeled as “fearmongers.”

But Simon, who said her abuser went on to attack other girls after her, said she won’t let the insults stop her. “I know the full weight of not speaking out and people getting hurt,”

"The policies, which went into effect Dec. 26, grant individuals full access to bathrooms, locker rooms and other gender-specific facilities in accordance with their chosen gender identity instead of their anatomical sex."

No where in that story could I find anything that indicated that the guy who sexually assaulted the woman was a man pretending to be a woman so he could sneak into the women's locker room and abuse that poor woman (If I missed that part, please point it out to me).

Actually, from what I could glean, it sounds like the man was someone she knew and trusted, and had begun grooming her at a very early age ("“It started when I was in diapers and went through until I was 10,” Kaeley Triller Haver, who is now 32, told The Daily Signal of her abuse. “I used to get watched in the shower—that was his thing" and “For me, grooming started at 8 and raping started at 9,” Simon, 39, told The Daily Signal. “It was a good 18 years before I could start speaking out about it.”), which, unfortunately, is the case in a majority of sexual assaults. Sounds like her swim coach, to me. But I can't tell for sure.

Let's just try to be really clear here.

Do you acknowledge the existence of transgender people? Do you acknowledge the fact that a transgender woman is a woman?

Or do you deny the reality of transgender?
I already covered this... they are physically still what they were at birth.
It's all mental illness as far as I can determine. Or, in many cases it appears it's just a fad with some serious consequences.

Yes, you have said this, and I apologize for making you repeat it. But I just wanted to make it clear.

To be clear myself, I stand by what I said in post #164. The people you call men are transgender women. They are women. Your position as you have expressed it is pure transphobic ignorant bigotry.

And this assessment is based on your extensive research work in the field of psychology? Your lab work in biology, perhaps? Or maybe your deep dive into neuroscience?

It always kills me when people say stuff like this.

No, it's Common sense and biology.

Do you really think a teenage boy would undergo treatment, take hormones, subject himself to harassment and discrimination, etc. just to do that? That's some serious dedication.

Nowadays, it's unnecessary to take hormones or have surgery to claim to be transgender, all that's required is self-declaration. It use to be that someone who believed they may be transgender went through extensive examinations and counseling to rule out other considerations, but that's not the case now. You could literally declare yourself transgender at this very moment and activists would rally it to be deemed fact without knowing a wit about you or the legitimacy of the claim.

In reality, trans people who convincingly present as the gender they identify with have used corresponding toilets with no awareness by others around them for decades. Women's toilets have private stalls, no one can tell if a convincing transwoman has had surgery or not; men's toilets have both urinals and private stalls, a transman who hasn't had surgery can opt for the latter.

There has also been cases of cis gendered women (women, born female) being harassed in the bathroom by someone who thinks they are trans.

This is why I say if someone goes into the bathroom, behaves themselves, uses the facilities, washes their hands and leaves, there should not be an issue!

Where are you getting the information that someone is required to have a psychiatric evaluation before going in a certain restroom?
I'm not sure what you're talking about.

My response was to your post that said, "How can a doctor diagnosis something that only exists in the mind?"

Without even getting into the expense and medical risk of transitioning not be accessible to all, they're rallied to in part because the concept of passing has ever been a harmful concept for trans and cis people, holding up inconsistent and narrow ideas about how men, women or nonbinary folk should look.

It's people looking to 'clock' trans people that are the problem, not people who think woman is a woman regardless of if she has facial hair or flat chest.
