What could be said to be a to big age gap between two adult people in a relationship in your view?

And yes i met a woman who is younger than me...

I don't think there's a one size fits all standard.

The stage of life matters more than the actual age, in my opinion. That isn't always entirely dependent on age, though. If one is getting older and is wanting to start a family, that would be a burden to someone trying to complete college(not saying that's your situation, just an example).

I mean for what it’s worth, my father was roughly 30 years older than my mother when they married. And that’s not the only relationship with such a large gap in my family.
Although none were younger than 30 when they got into said relationships.

But hey, if it works out then it works out

Depends on the couple and their age. The older they are the bigger age gap would be less of a problem.

You at 44 and the good lady at 28, i don't think is much of an age gap if the spark is there. Good luck.

It seems OK to me. Both of you are over 18. A 28 year old person should have had some life experience that should not be discounted. A 44 year old man isn't likely to be physically debilitated by the toll of aging. I think it is more about mental and emotional maturity than the number of years or the difference in those. There are ancillary differences to consider though. Friends, cultural tastes, economics, etc. But differences that raise issues can be dealt with.

If she were 18 to 20, perhaps it would be less likely to work out, but she isn't.

Good luck.

What you say is true.
She has her younger persona that made me find my younger more playful persona back. So yes we compliment each other very well.

In China, its considered ok from the pov that by
that age a man has proved and established
himself.
( if he has not, run for your life !!)

A drawback may be that he is going to
die, as in case opened for review, about 20
years earlier than she does.

My dad is fond of saying, "Your brains don't knit together until you're 21." She's 28 and therefore has properly knitted brains. You should be fine.

Joking aside, I do think there's some merit to his saying. In the UK, you can legally have sex at 16 and legally do everything at 18. By 21, you've had a few years to test the limits of your newfound freedom and should (hopefully) have learned a few things on the way.

So yeah, considering she's 28 years old, her brains should definitely be properly knitted.

She is more adult in many aspects than I am my self :)

IMO the greater the age difference, the more difficult the relationship will be. Though 5 years doesn't seem a big deal.
More than that, while not impossible, I suspect the relationship will require a lot more tolerance from both partners.
