God wants different religions

Protestants kill Catholics and Sunnis kill Shiites and Christians kill Muslims. Is that why god gave different religions, so that people would have another reason to hate and kill each other?
Right. I hear some theists say that the disputes and differences are the fault of people. OK, then why did God create people like this so they will be in so many disputes?

If God gave different people different religions, but knew these people would fight over the differences, then God is either inept, or a sadist.

When a theist suggests it's not God's fault that humans act this way, then why is anyone worshipping this God at all?

God wants different religions to exist. God wants all human to live in peace with each other. God want us to learn to be kind to each other no matter what religion a person believes in. God has no spesific religion. God is behind different religions

Any thoughts? Do you agree or disagree?

I disagree. It may look like that, but it's the opposite. He wants us united on his rope from him and on his guidance. Inshallah with the Mahdi (a). Maybe, maybe not, we'll see what happens if humans accept the Mahdi (a) or not.

I agree that God is behind all the religions but that does not mean that God wants everyone to continue to cling to the religions of the past. If God had wanted that, God would not have revealed a new religion and said that He wants everyone to recognize it.

Why do you think that God wants different religions to exist? The mere fact that they exist is no proof that is what God wants.

I believe that God wanted different religions to exist because otherwise God would not have revealed different religions throughout the ages, but I do not believe that God wants different religions to exist in the future. My belief is based upon the passage below from Baha'u'llah. If God ordains something it always comes to pass eventually.

“That which the Lord hath ordained as the sovereign remedy and mightiest instrument for the healing of all the world is the union of all its peoples in one universal Cause, one common Faith. This can in no wise be achieved except through the power of a skilled, an all-powerful and inspired Physician. This, verily, is the truth, and all else naught but error.”

That makes it sound like God wants chaos and confusion. They can't all be true when they teach such wildly different things.

People are different so just one teaching for all would not be possible.
not possible now, but in the future I believe it will be possible because people will have evolved spiritually, so they won't feel the need to cling to a religion just because it suits their needs and personality.... people will want what God wants, whatever that religion is.

Unfortunately i disagree with that people become more spiritual evolved, it seems like it going the other way...

This is only because the people who know truth in this time are being selfish, they shy away from forbidding evil and commanding to good and speaking the truth and enjoining to hold on to it.

I can agree with the idea that God has no religion. I think religions are man made organizations, to serve the ruling class. And I can agree that God may be behind all teachings that are for love and truth.

I think that claiming to know what God wants is taking his name in vain. We can only speak from what we believe and our own experiences, not on the behalf of God. I believe God to be ineffable, and therefore the larger picture is, likewise, unknowable.

I do think that we can gain impressions of guidance through the contemplation of the divine, but I'm skeptical that we could ever generalize these intuitions as universal rules.

Evolution is an ever advancing civilization.

There is cycles though, look at creation as everything goes in cycles.

Material evolution or should I say Material technology hinder humans today in spiritual growth ( in my understanding) this is why I said spiritual evolvement is lacking today

We can consider It does not have to thought.

Science and religion can be the wings of the one bird when we use them to understand our one God and in a manner that is in harmony with all creation.

God created this matrix so we can learn to be spiritual beings, grow our spiritual limbs, create an ever advancing civilization, but also on the other hand it is logical we have to survive in a material creation for that to be so.

The two things are self contradiction. Maybe God should review His plan.

Yet millions live in peace and embrace all of the God given faiths with no prejudices of race, gender or religion.

Maybe it just needs some humans to change their own mindsets? The quandary of choices.

God wants different religions to exist.

My current belief is that Bhagavān may want different but similar religions to exist due to differences in aeons, cultures, and individual inclinations.

God wants all human to live in peace with each other.

God want us to learn to be kind to each other no matter what religion a person believes in.

I believe Bhagavān very likely wants those things in us all, yeah.

God has no spesific religion.

I agree. Something I cannot make myself say, for instance, is that Bhagavān is only behind Vaiṣṇavism. This is because he is not only Viṣṇu but Śiva and many others as well.

God is behind different religions

My current view is that Bhagavān is behind the different branches of Hinduism. Moreover, I think he is likely behind other Dharmic religions, especially Sikhism. At the same time, I think he can be personally reached in some non-Dharmic religions.

Could be, but for sure many died because of religion wars. Or even wars between different versions of the same religion.

that could have been avoided easily by just presenting one possible alternative to believers. No rational reason to wanting plurality of beliefs, since it seems to provide negative value, in general.
