The procedure on my leg was short and sweet. I spent most of the time joking with the doctor and nurse about dogs, tv shows that satisfy the entire family, holiday plans etc.

I just can't take a shower for a day, can't sit for more than an hour and have to wear compression socks religiously for a while.

It's called "venous insufficiency" because one vein in each leg has become lazy leading to blood not making it back to my heart as it should.

May you have an uneventful and speedy recovery

>Pandemic and an office remodel sent the staff of a external office home to work
>Office director wanted to have all of the staff take their PCs home, including to rather expensive, super powerful specialty PCs
>We told him no, things will not work properly if not on our network
>We also said we would et them up in another location, on our network, so they could remove
>Weeks later he contact us to purchase all sorts of things...
>We ask why and he tells us so his people can work better from home, with their office computers
>We tell him they should not be there, we will not purchase, we need to set them up on our network to allow his staff to remote
>Now his staff is asking us for support for their work PCs they have at home...
>They can't seem to understand.....

I am having a real hard time not responding, with what I am actually thinking, to this ridiculousness

I know. TIME!
I still remember in my young youth when I realized that there was something called time that had a past, present and future. I remember repeating "time is ticking away" over and over and over again.

Sadly I don't remember from when I lived in a world that was the "eternal now".
