"Jesus said, "When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that it is YOU who are the Sons of the Living Father. But if you WILL NOT know yourselves, you dwell in POVERTY.
And it is YOU who are that poverty. "

(Gospel of Thomas)
13. O Son of Spirit!
I created thee rich, why dost thou bring thyself down to poverty? Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself, that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting.

"Jesus said, " If you bring forth what is IN you, what is in you will save you,
BUT if you do NOT bring forth what is IN you, then what is in you will KILL you "

(Gospel of Thomas)
“Consider, moreover, how frequently doth man become forgetful of his own self, whilst God remaineth, through His all-encompassing knowledge, aware of His creature, and continueth to shed upon him the manifest radiance of His glory. It is evident, therefore, that, in such circumstances, He is closer to him than his own self. He will, indeed, so remain for ever, for, whereas the one true God knoweth all things, perceiveth all things, and comprehendeth all things, mortal man is prone to err, and is ignorant of the mysteries that lie enfolded within him….”

WILL NOT DIE. In the days when you consumed what is dead, you made it what is alive. When you come to dwell in the
light, what will you do ? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you become two, what will you do ? "

“The day is approaching when the intervening clouds will have been completely dissipated, when the light of the words, “All honor belongeth unto God and unto them that love Him,” will have appeared, as manifest as the sun, above the horizon of the Will of the Almighty……

Render thanks unto Him Who is the Desire of all worlds for having invested thee with such high honor. Ere long the world and all that is therein shall be as a thing forgotten, and all honor shall belong to the loved ones of thy Lord, the All-Glorious, the Most Bountiful.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 306

No, I am David, the Son of God,
Jesus is my "Brother".

And why would you want to be a "servant" (slave),
when you already are a "Son" (Child) too ?

Why apply any of these human constructs to the Divine?

What I prefer to believe is that my spirit is part of God and my body part of the material universe. When I die the spirit(soul, if you prefer) separates from my body. Spirit rejoins God, the illusion that it was ever a separate thing disappears. Body continues on the vast cycle of transformation that all material objects are part of.

This is just a preference of mine, not a truth claim.

And you are not that far away from the "kingdom of God".
I will be posting a thread soon to show how the secret meaning of the word "MAN"
means "GOD"...….stay tuned.
