A few Krishna images I painted

Viraja

Jaya Jagannatha!
Hope it is not harmful to upload religious images of a deity in this section.

I would like an appraisal for my art.

I decided to renew my skill after a 25 yr gap.

I did not even think I could or would paint, but I guess painting, like driving a car, does not die with lack of practice.

Thanks.

I like the line drawn face the best. The eyes ... are powerful, knowing, and intense.

I also really like painting with Krishna playing the flute. The colors are vibrant, and I like the delicate footsteps and the expression on Krishna's face seems natural. It's as if you snapped a candid photo and captured it in paint.

:)

If you don't mind the questions:

What paint did you use? And how big are these in real life?

Hi Dybmh,

Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate it.

The line drawn face is my insight in to how Krishna might look. I just sketched it for a little amusement value to see how many people can really vibe with that image, if told that is how Krishna looked.

Krishna playing the flute is an image copy from a popular painting uploaded in google for free. Thank you so much, I really appreciate the positive feedback on that.

Since I am just commencing my painting journey again after a very long gap, I did not want to invest right away. Just used the free paint that comes with purchasing a twin pack of 16 * 20 Canvas boards from Michaels Store.

The size of the huge Krishna and that of the one with 2 queens is 16 * 20. The sketches in B&W are just ordinary 8 * 10 paper. And the Krishna playing flute image is 11 * 14 I think.
