I am wondering what the selection pressure is for those massive forearms. Is that for survival or something else?

There's talk of classifying me as Homo superiosus or at least Homo sapiens superiosus


It's under peer review as I write.

I understand there is a lot of debate over the proper placement of our group and whether we are merely a subspecies or deserving of full species status. I cannot wait to see the final publication.

That's a good point. There may be some survival value in keeping the engine warm between uses compared to shutting it down and restarting it as needed.

My response was, of course, metaphorical to maintain the family friendly nature of your threads. Of course a good argument could be made that one of your favorite subjects is family friendly in a very real way.
