GREAT! Now, since Jesus gave us Pastors, teachers, evangelists etc, PM me and we will start from scratch. You can ask every question ON THE SUBJECT AT HAND... If what I say is wrong... the Holy Spirit will show you why THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES and not personal opinions.

I appreciate the offer, but I don't think there's anything you can do for me. Until I see God faithful to the scriptures "ask and you shall receive seek and you shall find knock and it shall be opened to see you"... And until God is faithful to his statement that " the faith of a mustard seed can move mountains and ask anything of the father in Jesus name and it will be done... Those who believe in me will do the works I do and greater works"... No lectures about scripture are going to help me.

I need God to be faithful to his word before I can begin to trust that the Bible is his word.

You can criticize me for being unbelieving, but you're totally overlooking the great fault of God for being unfaithful to his word.

What's worse, a human that lacks faith, or a Shepherd who promises to Shepherd his sheep and then refuses to? People that read the Bible windup at opposite beliefs, each of them have a collection of scripture verses to support opposite opinions.

God simply needs to guide his people. He needs to give them the Holy Spirit to teach them, like he said he would!

I've heard plenty of teachers attack the Catholic church, I've heard plenty of teachers defend the Catholic Church, I don't know who to listen to.

The Catholic Church put the Bible together at the council's of Rome, Carthage, and hippo. The Bible is a Catholic book.

If the Catholic church is so corrupt, how do you know they chose the correct books of your new testament Canon?

The Catholic church was the only Christian Church for many centuries. Protestantism didn't exist until the 16th century.

Interesting that God gave the world nothing but Heretics for Shepherds for so long. That really tells me that teachers can be trusted. *Sarcasm*

Five minutes later he drowned and the angels took him to God. HIGHLY upset he told God, "Why didn't you answer my prayers!!"

God replied, "What in the world do you mean... I sent you a row boat, a speed boat and a helicopter". Sometimes we miss the obvious of who God is sending our way.

Because you ask and do not believe... and because you want Him to help you the way YOU want to... and because you think you don't need the rest of the body... and because you want one scripture at the expense of others.

He is faithful to His word but you want to be on your terms and on a different road and against His word

For the longest time I believed the Bible was his word. I tried to believe in his word. His word returned void... I sought out other members of the body of Christ for help. It just led to more false hope that led to disappointment.

I wholeheartedly sought the Lord God and sought the wisdom and understanding that he promised to give. I sought in vain.

I realize that wisdom and understanding must come from God. No matter how many theologians I ask, I'm not going to get the answers.

Until God gives me the holy spirit that he promised to give, and the Holy Spirit actually does his job as teacher, myself and the world are hopeless.

In the Acts of the Apostles, the early Christians were actually showing people that God was working through them. They were able to heal the sick, make the crippled walk, cleanse the lepers , and raise the Dead.

Nobody is doing the works that Jesus promised we would do. I'm to the point now where I'm not going to trust anybody unless they leave evidence that the Holy Spirit really moves them.

The body of Christ should be leaving people with evidence that God is with us. God refuses to provide that evidence, and nobody is doing the works God promised.

I've tested the word of God. I've studied it plenty and sought out many people to help me. The word of God was tested and turned out to be falsehood!

I gave my whole heart to God and I put all my effort into seeking his will, God refused to give me basic Graces of understanding.

Why should I trust what you have to say? Why should I trust what the Bible has to say when the Bible has turned out to be false? I've tested the promises of Jesus. They've turned out to be lies. If God would be faithful to his word, the world would believe.

I asked I did not receive, I sought but did not find, I knocked and it was not opened unto me, I asked in the name of Jesus and it wasn't given to me... I was simply asking for the grace to do God's will. God would not even grant That! How disgusting! What a pitiful dishonest God we have!

All I wanted was the grace to discern his will, and God refused to grant that. No wonder people don't do God's will!

However I feel that if you would try to change your perspective a little, you might find that the normal answers to your questions aren't so bad. Maybe if you try believing a little bit, the usual answers and sometimes unusual answers may make more sense to you. Remember that we agreed to be friends about half a year ago.

His will is not in front of my eyes. You are doing a great job of ruining your own credibility. I have many questions I asked God. I simply don't get answers. But the holy spirit is supposed to live within me so how can that be?

I was told that everybody has the light of Christ no matter what. Sin stops us from seeing the future, but no matter how Satan distorts thing we still have the light of Christ to know what to do. He just distorts things but the truth is still available. You make perfect sense but I think so do some of the obvious answers to your questions.
