Jesus , Krishna- which of the two is the supreme-god?

Muffled

Jesus in me
I would suggest neither! Jesus was made into 'God' as a theological convenience by the early 'church' that allowed for the development of worship rituals necessary for an institutional 'church' to take form. I cannot speak with any valid opinion on Krishna, but Jesus was not God, but the last of a prophet line, sent to the Jewish tribes of his time, to correct their understanding of God. A correction that so threatened the Jewish temple structures and the credibility of the priestly class and hierarchy, that to stop the spread of Jesus teaching, he had to die. All that exists today in the name of Jesus is theological counterfeit. No more than paganism with scriptural spin on top!

I don't see any truth in what you say.

I believe there is no evidence to support this view.

Muffled

Jesus in me
According to Christianity, Jesus is the son of God.

According to Hinduism, Krishna IS God (though not all Hindus consider Him to be the original form).

Whether one concept is true and other false, well, maybe we'll all find out in the afterlife or maybe not...

If I can choose which one seems more God-like and who I would really prefer to be God then obviously Krishna. I tried to think of the best word to describe how Krishna seems to me and the word I came up with is: Complete.

I believe the evidence is that Jesus is God because He is the Truth. Krishna is not because he doesn't always speak the truth.

"I believe"
One should talk with certainty, not on the blind faith. Bind faith in not truth. It only expresses doubt.

Jesus and Krishna both were just human beings and prophets, none of them is god or son of god or supreme-god. Please
Regards
Sir you obviously are not well read on the topic. Even though you are listed as and try to portray yourself as an authority. While Jesus Himself was born to a human woman He also had a Divine Soul prior to joining us on earth. He is truly the son of God. Krishna is totally of human origin. While your religion might not recognize Jesus and His 2 natures Human and Divine makes Him not less than the Supreme God. Just because you say so. I speak not on my own accord but from the experience of many church Fathers who have addressed this issues for centuries. It is well documented fo over 5,000 years first with oral tradition and then with Scripture and Historical books. Either you are biased or you have not done your homework.

Jesus was son of Mary. Did Mary ever address Jesus as God? Please

Actually, @paarsurrey, the poster was in line with the rules. According to RF rules, things should be couched in terms like 'I believe' and 'In my understanding' etc. Otherwise it seems like preaching. So you can learn from this member.

While your religion might not recognize Jesus and His 2 natures Human and Divine makes Him not less than the Supreme God.

Ah, so you're a Chalcedonian! There are several distinct extant ideas on this subject in Trinitarian Christology. For example, the Church of the East follows the Nestorian teachings on the matter, believing Christ to have had two distinct beings, one human and one divine, whereas the Oriental Orthodox churches are Miaphysite, believing Christ to have been one being with one nature, but that this nature is in itself both human and divine. They are often accused by critics of Monophysitism, but this isn't quite accurate.

This of course is only addressing one particular subset of Christian theology, as in early Christianity there was a great diversity, to include Arians, Adoptionists, Docetists, Christian Gnostics etc. In modern Christianity this is also increasingly the case, with Unitarians, Oneness Pentecostals, Mormons etc all out there.

It's to try to get Christians and Hindus arguing, and then re-enter that foray with Allah as the Supreme God to save us all.
By looking at the posts near the end of this thread, it seems to me he accomplished his goal rather nicely. Good job, Paar! You have great skills at starting arguments, stepping back, and watching. Even adding a tidbit here and there to keep the fun going.

What a deliciously hilarious thread c/o @paarsurrey

Everyone with an IQ over 54 knows that Richard Dawkins is the Supreme God and that Christopher Hitchens was the Messiah.
