That depends on what purse and shoes I'm wearingSo....... what color is your kippah?
He would have to do something reeaallllllyyyyyy bad. There was a case in Monsey where a butcher had been selling non-kosher meat for years and passed it off as kosher. When they caught him, I believe he was shunned from there on out.Can a Orthodox Jew be shunned like the Amish do?

Yes, Monsey is a city full of Haridim. Was the butcher a Orthodox Jew?
So you are telling me a Orthodox Jewish butcher was passing off non kosher meat as kosher. Gee, that's kind of low.Was the butcher a Orthodox Jew?
He was also passing himself off as orthodox, if you know what I mean.So you are telling me a Orthodox Jewish butcher was passing off non kosher meat as kosher. Gee, that's kind of low.
These questions are tough for me to answer because I don't think there's one way to be an orthodox Jew. There are so many different opinions, traditions, and cultures - even just within the orthodox movement - which is why it makes this type of question difficult to answer. I may be a bit unorthodox according to my surroundings, but be extremely orthodox (whatever that means) according to others. For an orthodox Jew do you find yourself to be unorthodox?
Do you have the strange dread locks on either side of your head? These questions are tough for me to answer because I don't think there's one way to be an orthodox Jew. Here is a style I like. Only kidding, hope you have a sense of humor.Do you have the strange dread locks on either side of your head?
I do not. But I don't use razor blades on my side burns. That's where the original prohibition that lead to those "Pe'ot"(strange dread locks) came from.Do you have the strange dread locks on either side of your head?
History of the Jews in Morocco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaWhat "sect" do you belong too? Is that the right term? If you can supply a link or short video that would be great.
I'm pretty sure I'd be able to pull that off. Here is a style I like. Only kidding, hope you have a sense of humor.
So you belong to a sect of Jews that originates from Morocco. I guess at some point in time some must have migrated to Canada. I’m also guessing there a community of your sect in Canada. How large or small? How separated are you from the non-Orthodox? The Amish use the term “English” or “Outsider” for the non-Amish. Does the Orthodox have an equivalent term?
Before I came on this site, I had never really differentiated between orthodox, conservative, or reform Jews. To me, we were all Jews. Some practiced a more traditional version of Judaism, whereas some practiced a less traditional version of Judaism. I'm not separated from those that practice a less traditional version of Judaism, we mostly live in majority Jewish neighborhoods. So you belong to a sect of Jews that originates from Morocco.
