Please Explain: "Gay Christian"

Fine. Then Paul isn't addressing any of us -- only Christians in the church at Corinth. Therefore, his words mean nothing to the rest of us, if that's the logic you're using for James. Unless you'd like to continue in your Relativist Fallacy.

No, His words mean nothing to you.

Fallacy: Special Pleading.

Are you capable of producing a valid argument, or are you so caught up in the baseless arguments you're putting forth that you're simply grasping at straws?

All I need to do is state the truth, and I'm doing just fine at that. No grasping at straws necessary here.

Then James is for you, too, which means that your former statement about not needing to discuss your sin openly is WRONG.

It is my opinion you are not a Christian, you do not believe the truth, and you are believing lies, therefore I am never going to be required to confess my sins to you, and if I were to confess my sins to the church or some member of the church, it wouldn't be you.

I never discriminate against homosexuals.

I presently have the right to marry a woman, and so does every single adult male homosexual in the world.
Asserting that who they are is sinful is discrimination.

You, as a heterosexual, have the right to marry a woman. What about your homosexual bothers? Can they marry those to whom they are attracted? Your statement that they're free to marry women represents gross discrimination and disregard for their dignity. The argument also represents the fallacy of Relativism.

Relativist Fallacy again. You haven't stated the truth. You're not doing well at it at all. Every fallacy you employ simply adds another wing onto your house of straw.

Why on earth would a homosexual male marry a woman. Pointless and a sham.

A homosexual wouldn't, I suppose, but he has that right, just as I do. We have equal rights. Homosexuals are asking for special rights. It would be like a pedophile pleading for the right to marry a little boy or girl. It's not right. And I will do everything in my power to prevent it.

You seem to have a plank in your eye.

Can I marry a horse if I'm attracted to it? NO

Relativist Fallacy again. Your "opinion" doesn't matter. What matters is what the Church says.

I didn't say you were required to confess your sin to me. I said that your statement asserting that your sins were between you and God was in direct violation of the biblical tenet of sharing as put forth in James and Proverbs.

To a heterosexual it is a special right. To a homosexual it is not a special right but a basic right. Just like when women were fighting for the right to vote.

Ah yes the age old method of comparing it to pedophilia even though it is not even remotely the same thing. My partner is not my victim.

Then I shall confess my latest sin to God as well as my other sins.

They aren't equal rights, though, because the right isn't "marrying someone of the opposite sex." The right is "marrying the person I love." Don't move the goal posts.

It's not the same. Men had the right to vote. Now women have a right to vote. That is equality. Homosexuals can vote as well. You see, it's equal.

How is that equal? Women had to fight and fight hard for equality. Only men were permitted to make such choices yet now women are included on that too. Same with non white people gaining the right to vote. Then the law for interracial marriage. Soon I hope to be able to legally marry my partner.

Pedophilia is a certified dysfunction. It also represents violence. Not at all comparable to healthy homosexuality.

Your assertion that you will do everything in your power to prevent it constitutes discrimination. discrimination is an act of violence.
