it depends on what you take the bible to mean, more often than not its more a discription of God than a description of the earth.

Be it the description of God or the Earth, it is still illogical, I find no prove of inductive or deductive reasoning in it's terms.
Sounds like a guy got bored and decided to write a story. It is not uncommon.

Athiests have no idea the theology behind the omnimax God, they literally take the exact meaning the word, strip it of all its theological content and then wave ti around as if they have won something,

They say God created us, and that there is no other God. Well how did God come into existence?
The bible says that the Earth is 6000 years old, when carbondated rocks prove otherwise.
If God was logical wouldn't he create just faithful followers instead of logical opposition?
If God was logical would he create such intelligent species in the first place?
If God was logical wouldn't have given us direct contact to prove his existence? You say no because he wants our faith (believing in something with no prove of it's existence)
Of course I have studied to use of logics, otherwise I wouldn't be saying such things.
The bibles states that dinosaurs were a myth, yet we have prove that they existed.
Your reasoning is like stating that there is an existing sphagetti monster floating around above.
The only logical statement that I will give credit to 'God' is that he states that he is the only God and that there is no prove of the others, and that just because it is written, it doesn't make it so.
Yet of course he excludes himself from the equation. Making him illogical.

Words have meanings for a reason, why stretch the given definition of word?
Athiests have won something, if it weren't for them we wouldn't have the technology that your so called 'God' says is a crime against belief.
Look at Ben Franklin, a devil's advocate, look at Thomas Jefferson, a devil's advocate, George Washington a devil's advocate, Albert Einstine a devil's advocate.
Your missing the point in which people conform to better themselves, but the conformity is not truly them, they just make it seem that way to gain the popular tide.

i will number your statements.
1) look up the kalam cosmological arguement
2)since the year 3oo AD people never thought you had ot take that text as literal, 1500 years before Dawkin
3)if he merely wanted to boost his own ego then yes however he wanted a relationship, and if you want a meaningful one then said people have to be able to reject it.
4) you cant have meaningful interaction with Stones
5)then the relationship would be mute, people would merely use God as a one way ticket to an eternal paradise, relationship takes desire to reveal himself would eliminate that Desire.
the spegetti monster is a horrible saytr that people have proven time and time again does not relation to my God or infact any major religion.

how does him saying there is only one god exclude him he is God....
this is an edit, appart from the first two agruements the other three can be answered by saying how is this illogical, there could be a variety of reasons why he would, and even if some of them could be true I can be fully jusitified in myself.....

actually the bible warns against a lack of knowledge
look up perfect being theology that is where the omni's originated from, the definitions were created as a base, footnotes were added in later by Christians! you have added nothing of substance just a general statement, and from what God is "logical" I wouldnt think you have heard the good philisophical arguements against God.

your second premise is false merely because Sin si a violate of Gods will that doesnt mean he has to punish it right away, unless you can state why he has to.

Well you see here...there is still no prove of a rational logic behind it. Questioning of a higher being sure, that seems logical, assuming that he gives all of these laws is not however. We have no divine intervention, no items passed on to us by God.
And the question of original sin...or existence? Does that make sense? How do we over come that? We didn't chose to be, we just are.
Free will is a fantasy, just like heaven/hell, just like believing in souls and any of other life after life. As life is given it is bound to die. That is all that is to it.
