I want my knee to quit hurting. It hurts much less today than it did yesterday, and I can get up and moving around easier and quicker, but god my knee is still so very swollen and hurting so very much. I may need Wirey's icey cold snowman hands rub it and message it.

I also really, really wish my brother and sister would quit pestering me about me needing faith. They can never tell what to have faith in, they just tell me I need to have faith in something. And I tell them why have faith when you can have facts? And if you have no facts, why make **** up? But oh I need faith they say.

It's clear that your foe is socially unaware.
So much so that even I, an engineer, know better than to say such a thing.
Why?
Because to say it implies that it need be said.
I recommend that you counter with a cheery, "Bless your heart.".

What?
Too harsh?
I did finally get a chance to say something to the guy, alone. It was direct, and without drama, or unnecessary harshness -- and I acknowledged I thought his comments were well-intended, even though I did not like them and wanted them to stop.

However...while waiting for a chance to say it without saying it in front of anyone, and perhaps unnecessarily causing him to loose face...something else occurred, that I did not address on Saturday when I spoke to him, and I haven't seen him since.

(I thought you might feel comforted to know this, so the fabric of your reality is not ripped apart, with the thought I may have addressed an entire problem completely, and left nothing to complain about. You're welcome. :D)

Wait a minute...actually, I did address that one problem completely. The other problem is a completely different issue. (I get to be right twice.:))

I'll only address issue #2 if it happens again, and if so, I'll do it at the time.

I'm confused.

Meh...so what else is new.

Oh, that was an update/reply to a rant of mine a while back about a guy at the park that took it upon himself to start calling out motivational phrases while passing me on the exercise path and it bugged me -- that I finally got a chance to say, please knock it off.

(I was also referencing a joke/comment you had made about women not fully solving problems so they can continue to complain.)

I got that much.
But what followed lost me.
