I read People of the Earth: The New Pagans Speak Out
Im not really sure I'd call them religious texts in the traditional sense, The Havamal is pretty interesting. Also, the Vedas are pretty cool. Anything rooted in P.I.E. is a fun read.
My list is on Goodreads. Are you on it?
P.I.E.? Sorry, not much sleep last night, so my brain is gooey.
Goodreads is great. I go there to track my reading progress and reading challenge.
Oh. https://www.nichirenlibrary.org/ has three books of Nichiren's letters on Dharma practice of Lotus Sutra as well as the Lotus itself. You can get them on Amazon too.

Proto-Indo Europeans. The prehistoric roots for much of the people who live from Europe down to India and Iran. Many gods like Zeus, Jupiter, Tyr, Dyaus, etc. Can trace their etymological roots to the god Dyeus Pater (day/sky father).

Same thing can be done with other gods like Thor and Sol.

Not so much religious, more spiritual philosophy:I am curious what everyone's favorite religious texts are. Not just scriptural texts, but any books on religion/spirituality. I need to expand my already ridiculously long reading list.
Welcome to RFQur'an; Nahjul Balagha, Bihar al-Anwar, Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, Kitab al-Kafi, the Haft Bab, Umm al-Kitab (the Ismaili text), plus dozens of other texts of Hadith collections, Duas and meditations.
The Bible, but in particular out of it: Deuteronomy, Psalms, Sirach, Wisdom of Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Gospel of John and Epistle of James. Out of the "Gnostic" traditions; Book of the Great Invisible Spirit, Gospel of Thomas and Thunder Perfect Mind.
Then; The Gathas, Venidad, Arda Wiraz Namag, Upanishads, Mahabharata (incl the Gita), The Lotus Sutra, The Lankavatara Sutra, Heart Sutra, Bardo Thodol, Platform Sutra, Sutta Pitaka, Corpus Hermeticum, Liber AL Vel Legis, Liber 418, The Book Of Lies, Liber Aleph, Popol Vuh, Atra-hasis, Satanic Bible too (if it counts), probably a few others too such as the Tao Te Ching, and other asian texts.
