Just saw a report on CNN "that the number of children with autism in the US continues to rise, according to the CDC. The latest data estimate that 1 in 88 American children has some form of autism spectrum disorder. Thats a 78% increase compared to a decade ago."

I loved reading this book. To me, Pirsig wrote this book with an unusually penetrating sense of self inquiry. I just remember being left with the impression of "what a brilliant mind."
