I am sceptical of the Skeptics. Is it wrong?

Does Allah really exist? Seriously, I thought he was a fictional character. Does Hell really exist? I thought it was a fictional place.

There is nothing written in the Qur'an that proves the existence of Allah and Hell any more than a book written about Peter Pan proves the existence of Peter Pan.

Neither book proves anything, and never will.

Yes, Allah, hell, do exist.what about, who again? Peter North, I mean peter Pan?

what is the proof that he is a prophet?
The Gospel of the FSM.

either you worry or not, hell still exist.
Yeah, whatever you say.
I'll add the Islamic Hell to the pile of countless other afterlife experiences, from all the other religions and make-believe nonsense that I'm supposed to be afraid of.
Enjoy wasting your life committing to arbitrary restrictions purely because you believe you'll go to "Paradise" after - you've fallen for yet another religious pyramid scheme created by other humans.

how could the Gospel be claimed as the proof? no make sense. it is called a circular logic.
everyone wastes the time in this world. we cannot avoid the after life, no matter we do believe or not.

The Qur'an's claim is circular as well. And not worth worrying about in any case, even if somehow true.

In the same way the Quran apparently can.
Also, provide evidence for an afterlife please.

he said the true thing.

so all of a sudden all of the absurdities in other texts are called for what they are ( like it should be done and like a skeptic would in fact do ) while all of the absurdities in your text must be true cause the text claims about itself that it's true.
You really must have forgot the "don't" part when you entered your username in the registration process.

then simply assume he lied.

I'm sure this post has already been addressed, as it's old, but I wanted to address it anyway. I wouldn't call it becoming skeptical of that belief. Generally, belief in a god comes from being taught such a belief. Skepticism sometimes later allows the person to break free from that belief. Skepticism involves searching for evidence and looking at the issue as objectively as possible. It's fine to be skeptical of the idea that blind chance is an adequate explanation for the world we see around us, but then the evidence you gather in that search would not lead to a belief in God, if you're truly being skeptical.

From a certain perspective as I said, and maybe that's just a personal one since I was born and raised atheist, and became skeptical of it later.

But I don't agree with your premise, I don't think many people believe in God just because they were told to- that sounds more like science to me. Religion, Christianity at least, usually heavily stresses the personal journey/ discovery/ faith/ relationship..

A child may profess belief in God as they would Santa, but they continually evaluate both beliefs more objective as they age yes?, and hence many become more religious with age do they not?

Yes I trust the Quran dogmatically.
I appreciate your honesty. Now, do you see the danger associated with believing dogmatically when it comes to God's rules for us? That frauds have the capability of "fooling" us with what they claim to be God's will when it's really just their will?
