Happy Birthday @John53! Or is it John79 now?

I hope you have a great day!

Did you get anything cool?

Only up to John61.

Not really, as you saw I got blocked in, in an empty car park.

Yes I did! I bought myself a copy of, Where Song Began: Australia's Birds and How They Changed the world by Tim Low. It's about a love triangle between infertile soils, flowering trees and birds written by a former entomologist. I bought it for the birds but 28 pages in I'm impressed by the trees.

Interested that it was written by an entomologist or former one. We pop up in the strangest places. (Sorry ladies, I was looking for drain flies).

I think he calls himself a biologist but at one point said he was working as an entomologist. I'm assuming all entomologists are biologists but not all biologists are entomologists?

All biologists should be entomologist. But yours is the reality I am faced with.

I'm learning about lerp and the psyllid's that produce it now. Us birds nerds are always talking about birds lerping but until now I didn't know what it was, I thought it was the actual insects they were eating. Turns out lerp is bug poop not bug.
