I am feeling frustrated - I was watching an early moring programme in which a Montreal university professor (I thought his name was Justin Elgin-but I may be wrong) was being interviewed on his latest study of the problems of rebellious and unruly youth in early Victorian times in England.
Apparently, a famous man of the times (I forgot his name within five minutes of getting up) drew up a list of 'dont's for the youth of his time - the first being :-"thou shalt not gossip, and spread malicious humour"! The world doesn't change much - except that we have a much better gossip ability than the Victorians - The internet!
