Wha....? A common name with Rival as its meaning... I cant think of any such name. Are there popular and famous persons who have this name also?
It was on the top ten girls' names list for like ten years running, so I should think so.

Okay you should just say it. Ive checked sites and none of the current top 10 girls name mean rival. Not even top 20.
I don't mean right now. If you just google "girl's name that means rival" you'll see it, albeit probably spelt different from mine.

Emily? Aileen? Wow i didnt even know emily meant rival. Why would anyone name his child rival anyway?
Most parents just choose names that they like, not based on what they mean.

Not me though. If i were to have kids i would take like 9months choosing the best sounding, the best meaning and the most socially acceptable name out there. (perhaps thats why i wont have any children in my life... the irony...)
