No, no, no I find it was Not Christians, but rather the so-called Christians.
The Bible makes a difference between genuine ' wheat ' Christians and fake ' weed/tares' Christians.
The Bible teaches us that both the true and the false Christians would grow together over the centuries until the harvest time ( a harvest as we know comes at the end of a growing season ). That harvest time is connected to a soon coming 'time of separation' to take place on Earth when the genuine would be separated from the fake or false Christians.
So, it is Not the Bible that is twisted but the ' weed/tares ' so-called Christians that twisted it to their own ends.

Jesus, I find believed in the old Hebrew Bible or Scriptures, and God decreed that Earth be populated and Not over populated at Genesis 1:28. People were to reproduce until the Earth was ' full ' Not overfull or to over-multiply.

Sure we should be thankful for the harvest and water including the sun, etc. but who provides the sun and the rain that make the harvest possible. Who set those laws in motion that govern the mid-heavens to behave as they do.
Man has caused ruin to Earth ( Most of Earth's population is Not Christian ) and Now Earth is striking back at humans who are trying to ruin Earth. It almost seems as if Earth is revolting and targeting against humans.
Where was man when Earth was founded and set its measurements. Who set limits on the seas so they come no further than they do. Who fathers the rain or gives birth to the frost from the heavens, Not humans.
So, isn't the one who provides these necessary things be the one who should be worshipped.
We find all of the other planets have non-biblical names, but according to Genesis 1:10 God named this planet ' Earth '. So, I would say 'yes' to being thankful and knowing where things come from does help a lot. Helps a lot knowing about God as Creator and Benefactor. Helps a lots knowing God 'will bring to ruin' those ruining Earth as mentioned at Revelation 11:18 B. In other words, history shows man can Not stop man from ruining Earth.

That is the problem, Your statement about how humans should populate until it's full. Full isn't a true measure. Humans complain about creatures with fairly little numbers making an area "full" therefore needing "population control". That isn't right to fill up the earth. Non human animals have just a much a right to live as humans do. All creatures are equal and should not be singled out. If humans populate the earth yet call other species invasive for being in the "wrong" area (the "canadian" wolves, iguanas, and brown anoles are three examples) then that's hypocrisy. There's plenty of humans on this earth and there's no need for more. If you wanted to in theory have humans in human farms and have humans live on each others bodies to bring more of a population to earth therefore making it in theory not quite full although such a measure is immoral

Both humankind and animalkind were designed to be here and live here in peace.
Human reproduction as per Genesis 1:28 was to stop, to cease, when earth was populated (Not over-populated).
What I find recorded at Isaiah 35 is that we will be at peace with animalkind.
Humankind nor animalkind will 'over-populate' the Earth. Earth will be in balance between us and the animals.
In Scripture, wicked people are the ' invasive ones ' so it's the wicked who will be destroyed as per Psalms 92:7
Isaiah 65:25 even mentions wild animals will Not harm domestic animals besides Not harming humans.
I guess one could say that we along with the animals (wolves, etc.) will be one happy family as originally meant to be.
