Seems to me an appropriate topic for Memorial Day (US).

Post ideas for your headstone inscription here.

Quos redemisti, tu conserva, Christe.

This is the last line of the Attende Domine, an ancient Lent Gregorian hymn that my late wife and I were both very fond of. It means: Those whom you have redeemed, keep safe, O Christ.

The hymn goes like this:

BUT that's at the top. At the bottom, one of my wife's frequent comments, when managing the progress of her disease:

"We are where we are".

Which will be true enough, when we're both there!

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

I won't be littering the place up with a headstone, we have a niche in a wall overlooking the village which will probably have our family name over it

Since I probably won't have a grave, there will be no headstone but somebody may make a memorial page

I actually plan on being shot in to space in a Winnebago full of some bodacious herbs and pizza.
