I believe the saying in Christian circles is that God hasn't stopped talking to you; you have stopped listening.

I believe that happened to me. It was easy to rectify; I just started listening again.

I don't think if a God can not be heard of the people who wish to follow him/her/it. it is the God who does not speak to them, it is more likely that it is the human beings ow fault they lost "connection" with God. meaning it is the human being who must work harder spiritually to be able to hear God again

I believe sometimes people don't know how to listen or are listening to the wrong things. The worshipers of Baal didn't get an answer because their god was worthless. They were trying to listen to the wrong god.

I would say God is neither. God is God, neither conditional nor unconditional. These are problematic judgments from the human perspective.
