Your favorite songs!

I have a lot of favorite songs and I know there are countless others out there that I have not yet heard. I'm sure same can be said for many. So, I thought it would be a good idea to have a "favorite songs" exchange. Simply put the title of the song and the artist in a list so we can all try to enjoy new and great songs out there! (P.S - it helps to do the list in Microsoft Excel so you can put it into alphabetical order automatically)

To listen to any of my songs or that of others, try any or any combination of the following - Using internet radio programs such as WinAmp, going to www.singingfish.com and typine the artist and title in order to find a website that has the song playing on it for free, downloading the song either by P2P or ITUNES.

I'll join you on the first three Mr Emu, to which I would add Beethoven's 5th and 9th - the 'ode to Joy' is one of my favourites - it really demonstrates the simplicity of a piece of fantastic music, built upon by the addition of orchestrated additions.

But I love every kind of music; Jim Reeves, Joan Baez, Charlie Pride - and Charle Rich, Shania Twain, the early Beatles.............I had better stop here.:help:

And I will join you on those, I love classical music. :D

Once again in agreement we are, I may not like every author, but I enjoy pleasing sounds from a vast spectrum of type. :D

And, just for a bit of drama and silliness - the 1812 overture - My mother always said that that was a very good pice of 'cheap music' - but I love it; Verdi's Nabucco............:)

Try www.audioscrobbler.com - Its wonderful for finding music which you'll like based on other peoples preferences. It records what you play when you use media player and then feeds it into the boiling pot and voila!
Thanks for the link - that sounds like a good idea - I'm always on the lookout for something new, but never quite know where to look.:)
