Your Favorite Piece

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Okay pervs. I don't want to hear about your best bedroom foray. This isn't Eros. This is the music forum for chrissakes! Get your minds out of the gutter.

This thread is about your favorite classical music piece. Mine for many years has been Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor. It sends chills up my spine each time I hear it.

If it's bedroom stuff I'll stay with this....

Sen. Everett McKinley Dirksen, singing "Wild Thing"

Edit: was trying to avoid writing Edward Everett Horton my mistake...so ended up with Edward Dirksen...anyway, had to tape our copy to a regular 45 record...Thank you, Mad Magazine...

No one favourite, but since no one has posted this and it probably was one of the pieces that awoke me to classical music - (from about 4:30)

This is worth a look too.
