we are here to learn all that we can before we die.
we are here to become unique spirits.
our bodies are formed to do exactly such things.

there is no mystery to life.

and our faces help to insure individual traits.

I think God did this on purpose.

reactions?

We are here for the benefit of the world not ourselves.
We are always unique.
Unless we teach and instruct, Nothing we learn gets passed on.
What we look like is of no importance except perhaps for identification within a group.

We are the eyes and hands of God here on earth

Unless man learns the secret of interstellar travel, Mankind and all his works will cease with the inevitable end of this world.
Man will have been a failure.

That is probably the final outcome for most worlds like our own.

Of all the members here, I would have said that you were one of the members who was least likely to say that his purpose was to learn.

Over the years you've been here, the impression that you gave me was that you had decided you knew "the truth" long before you got here and weren't interested in having your mind changed by new facts.

You've consistently parroted the same few statements over and over for the whole time you've been here. If your purpose is to learn as much as you can, it hasn't been reflected in your posts.

You've always seemed like an arrogant self-proclaimed prophet to me, so i am unconvinced of your stated purpose.

And if we refuse to learn do we die any sooner?

we take nothing from this life into the next.....other than what we have learned

and God needs us to see? He is blind without us?

I'd probably amend "for natural reasons" to "because of natural processes." It removes any ambiguity about there being any purpose to our existence.
your five senses feed this reality into your mind.
your body can't really do much more ...

Only our spirit (soul) returns to God.
There is no reason to suppose that that might include our memories.
God has no use of our knowledge. His own is complete.

I think it is presumptuous to assume we are here for any cosmically ordained purpose. It seems more reasonable to suppose we are here for natural reasons.

Even those who do not believe in God or a can give their life purpose. By working along the lines I suggested.
It would give direction to mankind, and perhaps a greater future.
Life itself is natural, intelligence can give purpose.

One can of course live and die in a completely aimless way, but that achieves nothing for either you or mankind.

God may well be complete....unto Himself... as you say....
and He has a memory?

we are not allowed to be a similar image?

But who's to say what is aimless?

If you can have a memory as such, outside of time, then he could have a memory.
Why do you imagine that you will even have a self, let alone a memory?

not much point in generating 7billion+ copies of a learning device....
only to have each one fail in the dust.

That is exactly what will happen, if mankind does not find a way out into the universe when the earth is destroyed by the sun.
Our memories are only contained in the nural networks of our brains. Our memories die with us.
Mankind has become expert in recording and passing knowledge from generation to generation.
He has never learned anything directy from the dead.
