My experience with creationists in forums is that that best of them post scientific articles out of context in a way to insinuate the precariousness of evolutionary thought. If the links go to real peer-reviewed articles it becomes very apparent that any expression of doubt regarding any part of the theory of evolution is really made in the context of scientists whose confidence is high in evolutionary theory but their excitement is such that they hope that they can find a major problem in that theory not to discredit it but to advance the understanding of science in a way that includes their own work and perspective.
Young earth creationism is a dwindling dream of an extended myth of how the world was created that has irresponsibly (myth should be made and should be made responsiblty) taken the course of fighting the momentum of science through poor analysis and understanding of science for the sake of preserving a narrative that I am sure God would like us to read in context.
