I finally figured out what direction I should go, when I studied the revelations of the Baha'i faith
    Here's my problem:

In order to properly understand the context of Revelation, most of the time you have to understand what is being said beforehand. And good luck understanding what is being said beforehand in certain places.

Wrath is a state if mind disrespectful of listening of Voice, not necessary from the Bible.

well, i'm asking what it's relationship is to god and self.

obviously it's god's anger. we don't normally think of love as being angry. we do know that expressing negative emotions can be healthy.

loving someone unconditionally doesn't require your approval of all that they do.

"Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil." Human's reality.

What do you mean by "service to self"?

The passage states very plainly that God's wrath comes upon all who worship the beast.

'Loving' and 'approval' hardly mix in such context.

uh huh, has to do with the quid pro quo thing.

    Matthew 4:9
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

i used the term unconditional for a reason. you can love someone and still not approve of someone's selfish behavior

i didn't really qualify service to self, please allow now.

service to self = selfishness, or self serving

service to other as self = selflessness, or service to all

can be understood based on the first two commandments; which are alike and implied by the name of names, exodus 3:14
