Why would God allow for humans to have divination?

Do you not see the lesson Frank? God has stepped out of our lives to allow the human race to experience the full effects of abandoning him as their rightful Sovereign and Lawgiver.

In the beginning our first parents chose to obey a 'wannabe' god by believing his lies....that the Creator is not the best judge of what is good and bad for us...and that we can make our own independent decisions based on what we think is a better idea....so how is that working for us do you think?

God allowed the devil a free hand to show us how he is the better god. Divination is just one of the tricks he has up his sleeve.....he is a deceiver you know....and we have all the warnings we need to steer clear of his deceptions. Paul said that God had given us instruction..."so that we may not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his designs".....(2 Corinthians 2:11) ....we have no excuse to be fooled.

The "father of the lie" called God a liar because he said that the humans would not die if they ate the fruit....that they would become "like God".....so did they? The fruit wasn't poisoned or anything but represented God's right to set the limits and standards of human behavior. The fruit was clearly identified as God's 'property' and they had no right to steal it. The stated penalty would apply...just not immediately. God said that 'in the day they ate from that tree they would surely die'....that was God's counting of a day. As Peter said..."one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8).....so the Bible confirms that no human has lived longer than a "day" in God's counting of time.

Satan used that one rule amongst all the generous provisions that God had made for them, to cast aspersions on his character and to question the depth of his love for his human children. They fell for it and people are still falling for it even today. :(

All it takes is some accurate knowledge from the Bible and all our questions are answered. I don't wonder about anything anymore....except how amazing the new earth will be under the rulership of God's Kingdom. (2 Peter 3:13)

....I can't wait!

Divination is twofold, You can use it to the benefit of good, But yes you can use it to evil too. The choice is for us to decide. Tarot cards, for example, can give an answer to the near future, but is it wise to know it? isnt it cheating the life if we know the trouble we get in the future?
Can it help to give people answer to important decisions? yes and sometimes it is ok, sometimes not :) It is up to us humans to decide
