WHY THE 70 WEEKS PROPHECY OF DANIEL WAS FULFILLED ENTIRELY

There is a prevalent false teaching that the last week of Daniel was not fulfilled entirely, and that it is a "floating" week that remains to be fulfilled in the future, which is the basis of several false teachings based on this misunderstanding, such as the false teaching concerning a "7 year" tribulation, the false teaching of the antichrist establishing a "7 year covenant", and several other false teachings. Here is a study that demonstrates how the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel was fulfilled entirely, on what Gregorian dates the weeks of Daniel were fulfilled, and how each part of the 70 week prophecy was fulfilled.

Is The “Daniel” of Ezekiel 28 The Same Person As The Book of Daniel?
Yes.

When discussing the evidence for the early date of Daniel in the sixth century B.C., one of the points that is raised is this same Daniel (of the book of Daniel) was a contemporary with Ezekiel (Ezekiel 14:20; 28:3). Since Ezekiel lived in the sixth century B.C., then it would be the case that Daniel lived during the same time period.

Those who oppose that the book of Daniel was written during the sixth century B.C. will appeal to another man named Danel (no misspelling here).

How did the last 3 1/2 years of the 70th week of Daniel get fulfilled?

After Jesus’ resurrection, He told the disciples to stay in Jerusalem to preach the New Covenant to the Jews.

They did this for 3 1/2 years until the Jewish leaders stoned Stephen to death, showing their final rejection of Jesus as their Messiah.

This caused the disciples to leave Jerusalem and then preach to the Gentile nations.
