That would be the 1st day. Basic counting of a week and all.

Again; do you worship the sun on Sunday?

I notice your sources was the supposed Luke, who supposedly wrote Acts. He was supposedly a historian taking stories from others (Luke 1:1-3), some from his supposed pal Paul. Per Yeshua, you can not use Luke to establish any matter (Matthew 18:16). Luke is simply acting as a scribe, much like the lying scribes of Jeremiah 8:8. If you want "truth" you will have to go to "Word of God" which Paul nailed to the cross (Col 2:14).

New American Standard Bible Jeremiah 8:8
"How can you say, 'We are wise, And the law of the LORD is with us'? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made it into a lie.

    Why six and not ten?

God rested. He could have made the week ten days. He could have rested on the eleventh.

He rested as a sign but why is the seventh day more important than another day?

What about the Day itself matters between sat or sun?

There is a scripture in the gospel I read a while back (I gave away my bibles) that said why people are co concerned over fasting. The importance is the reason and intent not Only and specifically the ritual.

I get baptism, a sign of being born again. Communion in the body of Christ

But a specific day of the week that didnt exist until man wrote scripture.

    That I don't understand......

Christians had been assembling on Sunday to worship ever since Christ's resurrection. This took place long before Constantine came into the picture.

A week only has seven days. You got it wrong, your 8th day should be 1st day.
This was done by the Catholics, perhaps as a fulfillment of prophecy:
Daniel 7:25-26 25 And he will speak even words against the Most High, and he will harass continually the holy ones themselves of the Supreme One. And he will intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, and times and half a time. 26 And the Court itself proceeded to sit, and his own rulership they finally took away, in order to annihilate [him] and to destroy [him] totally.
Or, perhaps this refers to something else.

Sorry, but an 8th day follows the 7th day of creation. That it should be the 1st day of another week is noted in the OP.

As for Daniel 7:24-25, that would be the “another” (king), following the 10 kings/horns of the “fourth beast”/Rome, who would be the Augustus Caesars, following the slaying of the 5th head of the beast Julius Caesar, who usurped the Roman Republic for a dictatorship. Those 10 horns would comprise the horns of the 6th head of the beast who was healed (Rev 13:3) and reigned between the first two sackings of Jerusalem by Rome. The “another”/king of Daniel 7:24 would be Constantine, who would “subdue three kings” in order to reunited Eastern Roman empire with Western Roman empire. Those 3 kings would be Servius, Daia, and Licinius. He changed the time and the law via his convened Council of Nicaea, which changed the law of having one God, and Constantine, in 321 AD changed the law of the Sabbath day. Constantine was the 7th head of the beast, and we are now in the era of the 8th head of the beast, “who was and is not” (Rev 17:11), and who also has 10 horns, who hate the “harot”/Judah/Jews, and persecutes and burns her. The beast, and the false prophet, who are both dead, are gathering the nations to Har-Magedon via their "demon spirits". (Rev 16:13-19)

Once you say Sunday is the the 8th day, you loose cohesion and the relationship to it being the first day of the week. You go beyond the week, into a daily count of the year's 36x days.
It makes no sense to me; but, if it makes sense to you fine.

As to Daniel, I simply quoted the changing of times and law, and the Catholic church did that. As to what and who it applies to, I leave up to you to determine for yourself what you think this is.

There were no "Christians" directly after "Christ's resurrection". Paul's persecuted the followers of Yeshua, for some time before he established his "Christian" church, which by the way, their creeds are antithetical to the teachings of Yeshua. The followers of Yeshua were Jewish, and kept the Laws of God. The followers of Paul, were Gentile, and saw no need to follow the Laws of God. If the foreigner wants to worship on God's mountain, they need both to keep his Commandments, and His Sabbath. (Isaiah 56:6).

New American Standard Bible Isaiah 56:6
    "Also the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD, To minister to Him, and to love the name of the LORD, To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the Sabbath And holds fast My covenant;

As for the two last days of the week, Anglo-Saxons are more romanized than Italians because Saturday and Sunday still come from the Roman days Saturni dies and Solis dies.

In order to turn Sunday into the 7th day of the week, (the day of rest the Genesis speaks of), Italians have stated that the week starts with Monday and the 7th day was called dies dominica, day of the Lord. But it's Sunday.
Saturday was called Sabbatum after Shabat, but it is the sixth day in Italy

Not all Christians accepts Sunday or any day as a day of worship.

For a Christian, we rest in Christ Jesus and not on any day.

So I suppose Christ Jesus was wrong to tell his disciples to take the gospel message to the Gentiles.

So I suppose that it was wrong for the disciples and the elders of Jerusalem, to send letters to the Gentiles telling them they don't have to keep the law of Moses.

Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.
5 In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.

    So,
In your religion, there's an 8th day of the week?
    Seriously?
Pardon me while I assume that you don't know what you're talking about. Nothing personal.

If you like the Sabbath then go for it. No one's stopping you. As for me I believe the Sabbath is coming(we have the earnest of our inheritance now if we receive it. see Isaiah 28:12) and we wait for God's real Sabbath as the 7th day when God Himself will rest and we may rest with Him. For now as Christ said God works. The great Sabbath day of God is coming the rest in the new Jerusalem.

People who believe that the Law is still to be obeyed now after the resurrection cannot explain why Jesus said the time comes when they will not worship in Jerusalem but in Spirit and in truth. So the Sabbath - God's real rest is coming. Jerusalem - the new Jerusalem is coming. etc.

You seem to not "understand" what "Truth" is. You have chosen to accept the "big lie" of the serpent/dragon, and his pied piper, Paul, and think you will not die (Genesis 3:4). God will make his tabernacle (Ez 37:27) with the combined stick of Judah and Israel (Ez 37:19), and they will keep his statutes (Ez 37:24), and have "My servant David" as their king. You have nailed the "truth", the Law and the prophets, to a cross (Colossians 2:14). As for "strangers", they can avail themselves as servants to Jacob (Isaiah 14:1-2). You either enter the kingdom of heaven at hand, now, and worship God in Spirit and Truth, or it will be too late, sooner rather than later.(John 4:23

    John 4:23
But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him.

New American Standard Bible Colossians 2:14
having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

And that comment coming from a self professed Catholic from hell. The 8th day in Scripture is represented by the "Last Great Day", "the eighth day", following the 7 day of the Feast of Tabernacles (Lev 23:34,36). Eventually a bad day for bad people. "An offering by fire"

New American Standard Bible Lev 23:36
'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.
