Why is Jesus not the messiah?

"And the same to you and the camel you came in on".
Et de même pour vous, ainsi que pour le chameau sur lequel vous êtes venus.

The word entré the way you uses it sounds more like it means to penetrate - maybe that's what you meant, pervert.

Guilty-- but I'm proud of it.

BTW, I used Google Translate, and as you well know it often misses the mark at times.

Hmmm.... Based on your previous posts, I would have thought that you did not believe that Judaism was cobbled together from diverse sources.
So, I am curious. In your opinion, what makes the Torah different from any other religious source that has been cobbled together from various sources?
Your disagreement is a bit of a conundrum for me.

In very broad strokes -

I believe that G-d is revealed through Torah.
I believe that G-d is experienced through Torah.
I believe that G-d speaks through Torah.

G-d's relationship to humanity, and to Israel in particular, is expressed through Torah.
Israel's relationship to G-d is expressed through Torah.

I do not, however, believe in Torah m'Sinai.

All right then. Don't describe yourself as an "etc."
I gave three points of view in my initial reply.
Those who accept the Torah and are "Orthodox Jews."
Those who totally reject G-d; Torah; and religion.
And - on the Gripping Hand - everyone else.

And, have a Kasher Sameach! Life is beautiful all the time. :)

That encompasses my position also, except with more hyphens.

Well why would he be the Messiah? I could say I am the Messiah, does it make it true? You could say the same thing and people believe you, but does that mean it is true?
